The Musée Elysée is gearing up for the digital age
New technology is coming to the Musée de l’Elysée as part of its new exhibition. The exhibition of an original photograph includes a display monitor that leads visitors on a voyage of discovery. The visitor becomes a researcher, choosing the light or the angle of vision, thus discovering new facets of the original. The display is a prototype, developed by the Elysée as part of a collaborative project with Artmyn, a start-up of the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
PLATEFORME 10 is Lausanne’s largest cultural project of this decade – and surely beyond. However, its value will not be evident until its complete opening in approximately 2022. The project “Musée en 3D” therefore offers – years in advance – the digital PLATEFORME 10, which presents selected objects and brings them together within a dialogue.
